🚀 About the Program
Magma Math is hosting a 4-day intensive Content Review Week in Berlin.
We are inviting 10 outstanding maths students (end of high school / early university) to collaborate with our content and product team on improving and scaling high-quality K–12 maths materials.
This is a short-term, highly focused program and a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in educational product development at one of Europe’s fastest-growing EdTech companies.
Strong contributors may be considered for future part-time collaboration opportunities.
🧮 What You’ll Work On
During these four days, you will contribute to real, production-level maths content used in classrooms internationally.
Your work may include:
Reviewing translated maths problems and worked examples
Improving clarity, correctness, and mathematical precision
Evaluating and refining hint systems (including AI-generated hints)
Supporting development of test-prep materials across different German Bundesländer
Checking alignment with curriculum standards
Identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential student misconceptions
Reviewing item quality using structured editorial criteria
You will work closely with Magma’s content leads and receive structured guidance throughout the week.
✨ What We’re Looking For
Good performance in mathematics (A-level / Abitur / equivalent)
Currently in final years of secondary school or early university studies
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to clearly explain mathematical reasoning
Comfortable working in English (spoken & written)
Own laptop (required)
Available on-site in Berlin for all 4 days
Bonus (not required):
Interest in education, curriculum design, or assessment
Experience tutoring or explaining maths to others
